Hello,
Board,
As my first post let me first say that I am extremely imprest with the amount of knowledge and dedication a great many of you have. I hope to share some when I get better educated you your beutifull watches.

I am a ROLEX guy, I have 4 (oyster, daytona, GMT, Air King) and have other nice watches my dad has passed on over the years, however never a Rolex, until I walked into the Tourneau store in Pentagon city and the Breilting display is the first one as you walk in......long story short I ended up with a Navitimer Montbrillant on a croc tan Tang buckle strap....I actually now regret the tang and ordered a deployment and new band for it :)...

Anyway here is my question and perhaps I am just paranoid:

When the minute wand is on 12, you would think that the hour hand would also be aligned with the little grooves that indicate the hour mark, but that is not the case. Here is what I mean, when it is exactly noon, the minute hand is on the noon but the hour hand is slightly behind, in fact about 1/3 behind the noon, it takes the minute hand to be on the 25th minute for the hour hand to be right on the money....do I make any sense? If not I will take a picture to show you guys :D.

Any help/non-paranoia help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for your help,

Hello and welcome aboard.

A picture might be useful, but I think I get what you mean, and assuming that I DO get what you mean, then I would say that you are absolutely right to question the alignment. On every Breitling I've ever owned (and that's a fair few over the years) the minute and hour hands align perfectly at noon. If it's under warranty it'll be a quick (and free) fix. I'm just sorry your frst experience with Breitling ownership has been a fraction off perfection.

:yeahthat

Sounds like a simple hand alignment issue, but shouldn't have happened.
