What discounts do you think the actual dealers receive if THEY were to buy a Breitling?

From what ive been told, they get them for cost or something like 40-50% off, and can only buy once per year. That was just one AD though, so YMMV.

THEY ARE LIMITED TO WHAT THEY CAN BUY, AND ITS ONLY DURING CERTAIN TIMES, AND NOT ON ALL MODELS, BUT THE DEAL IS NIIIIICE

Just curious since I work in retail also, how would Breitling know if the dealer bought a certain model that's not on the list and not during the promotional time? As long as he pays Breitling, it seems to me that the dealer can buy for cost when ever and what ever personal watch he wants.

During college, I worked for a bicycle shop. Rarely, manufactures would sell us parts for below dealer cost so that we could use them and recommend them first hand to customers. That was pretty cool.

Here in Canada it's one piece a year and it's tracked very closely, but it's close to cost on a limited number of models.

breitling knows because once or twice a year, all manufacturers do this, the employees of the ad's can buy a watch for themself for less than the normal store cost, they buy them right from breitlings, so yeah, they know.

If I buy a watch for myself, I usually get 10 to 20% extra discount on my normal price. Depends on the model.
But my agent checks personally, which watch I wear...

I would assume these "extra" deals are if they are getting a discount off their normal cost - I'm sure if they want to "buy from themself at zero profit" (aka NOT get any extra discount) they can

They cannot.

As stated here, it's closely monitored. Also remember, that the vast majority of people at ADs are just employees of a corporation.

Are you saying, that the owners of ADs, for example, have to pay full price if they want more than 1 breitling per year? It doesn't seem fair to them.

Not necessarily full price, but not dealer discount either - the same price that a good customer could negotiate. It's a restriction imposed by Breitling to prevent profiteering, inflating sales volumes, etc.
