It's one of many logo editions produced. Breitling produces a large number of these logo versions each year - they will produce them for anyone prepared to order 50 or more pieces. Can't speak to this specific model, but as a general rule these watches are less collectible, and therefore less valuable on the secondary market than regular pieces as they are of specialist appeal. Don't know when this model was produced but compare with a similar vintage Chronomat and subtract a little. |

I assume this is the watch you refer to ![]() This is the "F-14 Tomcat Jubilee Chronograph Chronomat" to give it its full name and was made in 1997. Unlike the special editions made for the services or companies, this model was sold in limited numbers to the public. Your reference to 206/250 suggests the production run in this case was 250. One the early Breitling catalogues illustrates the range available and states "They are produced with the agreement of the teams themselves, with part of the proceeds going to their favourite charity." I therefore suspect they were sold at a slightly higher price than the standard watch. However, their value is whatever the market demand is that particular watch. The Tomcat watch will probably command a slight premium in the USA whereas a "Team 60" Swedish Air Force would not. Whether you're buying or selling, don't automatically expect a premium over the standard watch. |
