Are you referring to the Blacksteel Limited? I can't remember if there are any other BB LEs. If that's the one you mean, I vote for the Rolex. In the spirit of the "popular watches you dislike" thread (which seems unnecessarily mean-spirited to me), I will say that I think the blacksteel version takes one of the best of the current Breitlings and makes it look like a POS. Of course, that's just my opinion. The Rolex is a very nice watch. Personally, the bracelet dimensions bother me, but overall I like the watch - and I certainly like it better than the BB BS - which is a perfectly good abbreviation for it, imo.

GMT Master II....hands down...I'd take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday over the BB Red Strike. There was an article in watchtime magazine this past summer about the Rolex facility in Switzerland. It shows a very rare look at their manufacturing facility which is incredible. If you are considering a Rolex I really encourage you to find that article. Their technology is second to none. :rolex

I'd go with the Rolex between these 2

That's the one I was trying to remember. It's not on the Breitling website anymore, and my mind jumbled it with the Chronomat 01 LE. (Hey, I'm in my third year of law school; it's amazing I still have any brain capacity left over at all.) OK, that changes my opinion a bit. I may be one of the few people who actually like the Red Strike, although I think I would still go with the original BB over the RS. Between the RS and the Rolex, I'd say the Rolex, but between the original BB and the Rolex - tough call, but probably the BB.

I'd have to agree. I own a BB and a GMTc, and I would take the Rolex. I LOVE the ceramic bezel. Plus, it's my most accurate automatic watch. :yeahthat

Definitely the Rolex. BB 01...that would be a tougher choice. Fortunately, it doesnt yet exist so its irrelevant.

Well in the interest of fair debate - Any Blackbird. My journey into Rolexland left me looking for an E ticket ride.

I should clarify my comment....I love the blackbird, so much so that I previously owned two....but I do not like the BB Red Strike at all....I hate it actually. I love my GMT IIc and still prefer it over the BB. I'm very excited to see the upcoming BB B01....if it stays unchanged I wont be able to resist.

Still gotta vote GMT tho based on ceramic bezel, extremely comfortable bracelet, high quality stainless steel, and top notch movement. I'm sure the B01 is a great movement but it's no Rolex!!

+2
I still prefer the original Blackbird over the LEs. I like the stealth aspect so the bright colors don't work for me.

I'm with Shark on this one. No Rolex for me, even though Snoop Dog wears Rolex. BB is next on my list, not sure about model exactly as I believe next year may see the BB get an in house movement...
