As the title suggests- whats your opinion on the pilot bracelet? At first I was worried it was too blingy but I think (especially with a darker dial) its actually not as blingy as people probably think when looking at pics online- Its just.... well, attractive!

What do people think? :lingsrock:

I dont think it's flashy at all. I think the polished pilot and navi bracelets are beautiful!

it's definitely shiny but I don't think it's flashy.

I don't think it's flashy, either. I like a polished bracelet on a watch for comfort and waterproof durability-- so long as there's a functional reason behind it, I don't think you can really call it flash...

Sure it has some bling appeal - after all, a good 80% of a watches bling factor is the bracelet. But the pilot bracelet is not gaudy at all if that's what you mean. I great bracelet with some "presence."

I do not think the pilot bracelet is flashy at all, even though it is not my style.

I used to think full polish was gaudy and unattractive...until I wore a full polish Chronomat with a Pilot. Now, I just think it's handsome.

I have just acquired a NOS Chrono Evo, and think the Pilot Bracelet is stunning, but in no way too flashy.

One of the best bracelets out there, imo.

I think that the pilot bracelet is probably the most attractive metal bracelet that Breitling offers. I would say that the Pro II polished on the Avenger or SA would be the one that shows the most "bling".

I second that.

Great post.
I have a Navi World w a white dial o a pilot. Arguably one of the most versatile watches. This will never leave my collection.
I have worn it up and down. With a suit (but prob would not wear a tie).
With a bling effect. And as a casual wearer.

The most comfortable bracelet I have put on. Certainly not a small bracelet.
Very shiny but no gaudy.

It really is solid.

Third! The bling factor seems to lessen through the ranges. Including a Navi bracelet being less blingy than the Pilot.

Hey Roger - I'm thinking that bracelet on your World is a Navitimer bracelet, not a Pilot bracelet. 7 rows? :poke:

I have a Pilot with my Chrono Cockpit and although shiny, I think it is a very masculin bracelet. It is also very comfortable if sized correctly. Although even when too tight it is still comfortable. Very solid feeling and the Cape Cod cloth keeps it farily scratch free if desired. I will say I also like the contrast of adding the black rubber strap as well. Like alternating every month or so.

I think it is the perfect combination of just the right amount of bling and class. It's the 2nd best looking bracelet IMO after the blackird pilot bracet.

OK, I'll be the outlier. I am not a bracelet person. The polished look is a bit overwhelming, IMO. The bracelets are very well made BUT I think they are over the top. Beautiful in their own right, but just too flashy for my taste.
