When servicing a watch that's not a chronometer, whithin how many secs per day do they regulate the watch? Can i ask them to do better?

They try to get it to complete accuracy, just like with a chronometer. It's not possible to get it exact, but if you aren't satisfied you can ask them to re-regulate it, but if it's only out 8 - 10 seconds you might not get much advantage.

It will also need to settle for a few weeks after servicing so I would wait before doing anything.

I'm hoping i'll get it back within COSC specs.

Fair enough, but if it isn't that doesn't automatically mean that you can send it back for Breitling to regulate it again - it's not a chronometer so COSC specs aren't guaranteed.

I know,it would be nice to get it back as close as possible. I'm sure it will be better than the +70 secs it was running lately!!

I didn't realize that Breitling will service an non-breitling brand.

He is referring to a pre-COSC Breitling. The full Breitling line has only been COSC certified since around 2000.

I'd say if you can get it from +70 to +/- 8-10, you're doing pretty well.
