Hi all new to the board and just got the Chronomat 01 LE. I had the bracelet sized and was wondering if I made it a tad too tight. It fits snug on the wrist but maybe I should add another link so it is a bit looser, how do you guys and gals wear yours or what is your preference, loose or snug without being tight? |

I tend to wear mine a tad loose but that's just my personal preference. I don't know if you have tried yet, but the clasp has a microadjustment feature that may provide you with that little bit of additional looseness you need. |

With the watch on your wrist, hold your arm out with the face of the watch straight up, and the clasp on the bracelet should hang slightly inn the bottom of your arm. You should almost be able to fit a finger in there. |

The microadjustment is all you need to get a perfect fit. The adjustment on the B01 clasp is hidden from the outside to give a cleaner look, but it means it's a little harder to adjust that just using a cocktail stick as on the older version. |

I hate my watch being tight but I don't like it flopping around either and the crown digging in to the top of my hand. My ideal fit is if it is a bit loose when you first put it on and then after about a half hour it tends to stay in place due to the smallest amount of persperation that you accumulate under the strap. My Pilot bracelet fits me perfectly in the winter, but is often too tight in the summer and needs a link added. Even with the microadjustment made its smallest size it is still a bit large with the added link in though. |

Hey micara, I just tightened the micro adjustment on my pilot bracelet and have the watch fairly tight on my wrist. I find it more comfortable that way and I like the way the watch head sits more centrally on my wrist (and more securely). With the bracelet loose enough for one finger I found that the watch head (it is 120grams after all) tended to fall towards the outside of my wrist; which I think took away from the aesthetics of the watch!! But of course everyones wrist is different- size and contour etc I don't think there's a secret adjustment setting (unless I'm just not in on it of course!! ![]() PS. how loose is right depends on wrist size as well. If you have a small wrist it may be better to wear more snugg. One of my ADs says I turn a strap into a garotte. I say he will soon be swimming with the fishes. |

I agree with this statement, which is one of the things that finally led me to conclude the Chronomat is a bad fit for me. If I wear it tightly enough to keep it from flopping, it hurts. If I wear it loosely enough to keep from hurting, it just doesn't look right. Between the combination of thickness, weight, and my relatively small wrists (6.5 on the left), it just wasn't right. There's a point where one has to man up to being girly, and pick the right watch for one's build. Just my .02. |
