Just bought a mint Breitling Grand Premier (Dark blue face with a brown leather strap, would like to put on a pilot 22MM bracelet on the watch, but they are running over 1200 dollars, two questions 1) where can i go for a used bracelet and 2) any pictures or history on Grand Premier's, Thanks

Congratulations with your new watch !
Its a model not often seen and even finding pictures will be a task
Personally I have always liked the styling of that model but never owned one
For the bracelet I would look on Ebay auction site , any 22mm model "Old-Navitimer"
bracelet (5 or 7 row) will fit , the bracelet will have (If I remember correctly)
"Old Navitimer" stamped on the end pieces but I will see if I can find a picture

Good luck with you watch and I would like to see pics

I think the end links are actually just stamped 'OLD NAVI", but yes that will fit.

Not a terribly popular model when it came out and was only available for one year (1999). I suspect that it was too far removed from the typical Breitling look of the time, but personally I like it.

Grats on the pick up....that is a fine looking piece and has attractive "Vintage" look about it that is very nice.

Sweet watch, guys. That black strap really sets it off. I'd be inclined to get both the black strap and a bracelet, finances permitting.

The Black strap really is nice , is that a dark blue face, The pilot bracelet will look
real sharp with the Grand Premier.

Interestingly, while "Automatic" and "Swiss Made" are in English, "Rubis" is in French. At least, that's what I want to believe. I'd hate to think they misspelled it.

They didn't misspelled it, it's just in French instead of in English IMO.
