Around 8:00 last night I was watching the movie "Point Break" with Keanu Reeves. For those of you who haven't seen it... In a nut shell, it's basically about Keanu Reeves going under cover and joining a surfing tribe to get more insight on taking down bank robbers.

About 5 mins in during the first robbery, the guy says "how we lookin" (time wise) and the guy looks down at his wrist and.... Gold Wings appear and next to the wings, BREITLING! I had to laugh because I've seen this movie at least 100 times and never noticed it!

I believe it was a Aerospace, by the way it was laid out.

For those of you that have seen this movie, thought it would interest you! :D

I find myself doing the same thing - looking for flashes of watches I'm trying to ID.

Blood Diamond is the movine that got me interested in nice watches and ultimately Breitling. I kept looking at the watch and thinking, "Don't know what that is , but I have to get one."

I spent half of The Expendables drooling over Stallone's PAM. Damn I want that thing.

Same here man! Well actually my fiance does it too. She was at a clients office the other day and when she came home said, hey I think the guy had on a Breitling". Whether she was right or wrong, it impressed me lol

Kind of warms your heart a little doesn't it? Recently I was in another room working and my wife was watching "Taking of Pelham 1 2 3". She shouted in to say that "Travolta is wearing a Breitling!"

Poor girl, she has the bug too. :D

When I first came on board three years ago, there was a thread that had several shots of celebs rocking Breitlings on their wrists. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I am always on the lookout for Breitling, but the one I see most in the TV box is Seinfeld wearing his Old Navitimer. I think the watch Brodie is wearing in Point Break is a Pluton though.

I try to peg other watches, but I am not as well versed in the line-up, so it is a bit more difficult to nail down a model.

Funny, this is THE topic I spent hours looking and that was BEFORE joining the forum. :)

But I think you're right, I don't think it's maintained.

HA HA HA, same over here FEAR

She even surprised herself for doing it :o

The best part is that she records a film (or the sequence) where she thinks there is a Breitling if I'm not watching or if I'm away for my wine tastings so that I can "check" it afterward. :uplaugh:

Submariners seem to be the the most common that I see on tv/movies. I rarely see lings other than a John Travolta flick
