Hello everybody, It seems that I am having a Breitling fever! 
After putting my hands on the Montbrillant Datora, I am seriously considering to have a second ling with a more sportif look. And it seems I like the combination of the digital display and the analogue hands, so I will appreciate if anyone could list the differences between the Airwolf and the Aerospace in terms of functionality, versions and technical data, and if there are any other similar models. Most digital functions are similar,except stopwatch & timer on the aero goes only to 48 hrs vs the airwolf to 99 days. The aeros calendar needs programming every 4 yrs vs the airwolf is perpetual. Aero is 100m water resistant & the airwolf is 30m. The airwolf has a rotary slide rule which is great to use(as long as you learn to use it properly). Airwolf has an alarm on it's 2nd time zone in addition to the primary one(not sure if the aeros have the 2nd zone alarm. The aero is a very unassuming looking watch compared to the airwolf which has much more presence. I see a fair few aeros in the wild but my airwolf captivates me every time I look at it. hope this helps.. |

Couldn't agree with you more Davo, the looks of the airwolf are amazing. thank you for your comparison, but by the way it says on the breitling website that the airwolf is 5 bar water resistent, as i understand this is up to 50 meters, the question is will it be ok for surface swiming with the airwolf (not diving)? maybe some of the experts here can elobrate more on the 3 bar , 5 bar , etc... stuff and how it relates to usage in water thanx |

My mistake it is 5bar or 50m. This is required for any watch to be submerged. I swim & surf with my airwolf every other week over the last year. According to the local official service centre they recommend all watches have gaskets checked/replaced every 12-18 mths if you swim a lot, especially in the ocean(salt water). Once you get over the fact of the cost of the watch, you forget its on & do all your normal pursuits. The only exception is I leave it at home when I wake board..just in case of a very hard knock. |
