Post subject:  When is servicing needed?

Hi, i have a B1 from Willows here on the forum.
The B1 came from Andrew Michaels on 07/2009 so the B1 still have warranty till 07/2011

My question is, sins the B1 isn't the newest model when does it need service?
Is it so that, when it is been sold, the watch is in 100% condition because it could be at the A/D for some time.
If it is a new (ordered at Breitling) model, its absolutely new, only if it is a discontinued model it could be at the A/D for some time ...

So, when do you decide to give your Ling a service?

thanks

With an automatic watch I'd say 3 to 5 years if you follow Breitlings guidelines or simply when the timekeeping starts to go off. However the B1 is quartz so a lot is governed by the battery life. In general I'd say a service is probably due every couple of battery changes. However Breitling will advise you when you get your first battery change done.
