Hi guys, was just wondering if the Navi Montbrilliant Olympus is still available? I looked at one today, and really preferred it above the standard Montbrilliant since it also has the moon phase I've been looking for. Photo: ![]() However, the SA said he couldn't find it in the book but thought it was still available, and the only internet access I have right now is through my iPad, thus the Breitling (flash) site will not load. Anyone know for certain? |

Discontinued at Basel in March, ADs will still have stock though so you should be able to find the combo that you like. |

Great, thanks for clearing that up, Roff. ![]() Thoughts on this model, anyone? It's a little more expensive than the other models I've been considering (Chrono Cockpit, Aerospace) because of all the complications, but it really appeals to me as a daily rotation addition. Does anyone have one? how do they wear over time? |

I got this one a couple months ago - ![]() There is at least one other memeber here with the same dial as mine. I would look at this every visit to the AD. Boy, I'm glad I finally made the decision. Just a great watch. Yeah it's pricier than standard Navi, but it's pretty low priced for a chronograph with a moon phase and 4 year calendar. It is a delightful dressier watch. I like the throwback bezel beading as well. And the lumed arabics round out the package nicely. I give it an enthusiastic ![]() |

I also like the dial 'sharkman' has the best. More balanced/proportional looking with this white/black combination IMO. As for the watch itself, never owned one but it sure looks like an 'instrument for a professional' ![]() |

Thanks Sharkman, that's very helpful. ![]() Were these the only two dials available, does anyone know? They had both the black centre and the white centre today, and while I liked both, I think I liked the black more... Were there other options? |

Yes there are according to this http://www.authenticwatches.com/newolympus.html By the way I don't use these guys but find their web site handy to look at the models and variations. Much faster to load than the official Breitling site as well. Why do all these big watch companies insist on using Flash on their web sites? ![]() ![]() |

The problem I have with the newer Olympus is that I do not like the numeric numbers on the face, black "ring" on the face and the smaller dial. I much prefer the older Olympus or obiovusly the 1461 jours which I have... ![]() |

Oh, thanks, Ian, that's quite good. I had never seen the all-black or blue versions before. I called the other branch of my AD (mine doesn't have them in stock) and they said they had one and quoted me a price, but I foolishly forgot to ask which dial/strap combo! I'll have to call again tomorrow, I guess... |

I'd consider selling mine because it has been getting ZERO wrist time and I have my eye on something else. |

A local Costco has a blue Montbrillant Olympus for an absurdly low price. I'd be suspicious of buying it there, but at least I've had the chance to try it on. The dial is pretty busy, but it's still a very nice looking watch, and quite comfortable, too. I give it a ![]() |

Try the Cartier website - it's enough to make you want to throw your monitor at the wall. I also like the Authenticwatches website because they post standard retail prices for all the watches they carry. So far, they've proven accurate when I've checked the prices with ADs. Like you, I'd be leery of buying from them, but they do provide a fairly nice resource for pics and pricing. |

The blue dial is not real popular which may account for why COSTCO gets them. everything I've read indicates you can rely on their pieces. Still, I have the same uneasy feeling as you. Once the Supremes rule on Swatch Group v. COSTCO we may not see anymore higher end peices at the warehouse stores. |
