I am looking to send my Chrono Evo back to BUSA sometime in January after I receive my Navi World(that way I am not watchless  ) because it has been running drastically slow.Will they do a complete overhaul and check out everything else and lube it up? Or will they just regulate it and send it back? In other words do they typically do more then you ask for? OR just do what you say needs fixing? |

When I sent my watch in for regulation they performed a complete service of the movement. They stopped short of polishing the case and the full "overhaul" treament but the watch is doing very well as a result. It should be a while before Breitling needs to take another look at it. |

Breitling has two levels of service - basic and full. The basic service will be what they likely default to if it's a relatively new watch running out of specs. That is still a disassembly, replacement of single use parts and lubrication so unless there is a failure in a non routine servicing part it effectively 'resets' the service interval. You may not get the high end of the 5 - 7 year window out of the watch, but 5 years is reasonable. That said, from what you said before it is only running 20 seconds slow - I would just get a watchmaker to do it locally - a quick regulation will take a few minutes, a 'proper' one will take a couple of days to allow for monitoring of accuracy. |

True(about doing so locally) However, since its covered under warranty and i'll be getting a World anyway I think I amy take advantage of the situation and just go all out by taking it back the BUSA. On the upside, it will give me a chance to get to know my World a little better too by getting some quality alone time

I sent my Navi-World to BUSA in March and got it back in the same month. It was 3 weeks total time. It wasn't bad. I got a nice travel case and a polishing cloth in return too. ~Brian |

I got a nice travel case and a polishing cloth in return too. ~Brian Those are "Happy words" - see my "wibble" thread - I dropped off my watch(es - the UTC module counts as a 2nd watch) at "hanger 7" on Thursday, and I'm going through withdrawl, despite only having owned the watch 3 weeks (or maybe becasue). I'd LOVE to be wearing in on Dec 18th (company Christmas party). Not looking forward to 6-8 weeks without it  That said, I am looking forward to a UTC module that works, a 'ling that is in regulation, and who's hands still glow |

Ive sent a couple in for warranty regulation before, and both times they came back with a basic service, as evidenced by the "BASIC SERVICE" dated stamp in the warranty booklet. The case was not polished. |

My chronomat is at BUSA right now for a warranty regulation. A month passed and I called the AD for an update. He allegedly called Breitling, claims they had an extended wait for a part, and the watch will be back to me somewhere around the end of November i.e. 2 FULL months. I just found it hard to believe BUSA would be completely out of what I assume would be a basic part. Part of me assumes he didn't really call at all. All I know is 2 months for a regulation just sucks. |

Watch is running fast or slow (outside of the -4 to +6 seconds per day COSC tolerances). Send it in under warranty and Breitling will regulate it to get it within specs. |

Thx Roff. I already got the impression he was just making up an excuse for the extended delay. Now I'm virtually positive. I wouldn't be surprised if they sat on it for a couple weeks before they even sent it out! |
