What's your preference for a dive watch: STEELFISH or NEW SUPEROCEAN? |

Ive owned both, and you cant go wrong either way. The SOII seems to be a polarizing design that you either love or hate. I like it a lot. On the rubber it just works perfectly as a casual wearer. The steelfish is obviously bigger, but it wears nicely. I just think that with all the new designs coming out its starting to look like the old man of the bunch. Id say just to buy the one that you think looks nicer. |

I would have to say the old SO, but since it's not an option then I would go with the SF. I am not a real big fan of the new SOII...I don't hate it, but it just does not appeal to me in it's new form. |

Definitely the Steelfish. I'm not sure the SOII even qualifies as a dive watch under ISO 6425. |

Between the two I would have to go with the steelfish. But overall, the Seawolf hands down wins in my opinion. |

I was gonna show a pic and be like BAM! You can dive with a Ling or any $5000 watch you wanna dive with; so long as it's rated ofcourse. Then I pulled up the pic and realized, epic fail on the bubbles.... Attachment: Watchwater.JPG

Given the options here, no question about it: definitely the Steelfish |

My personal choice is a Seawolf, but of the two you named, I'd go Steelfish, not a SOII fan at all. |

From Mr. Broken Record - Steelfish! But really they are such different watches, you need to check them both out on the wrist and decide for yourself. Indeed they are about as different as 2 watches can get. My advise would be of no benefit. So check them out, decide what you like, THEN BUY THE STEELFISH! ![]() |
