Afternoon all.

I currently own a black face SOH and a black face M1 and am contemplating purchasing a White face navi world on a brown leather band to include in my small collection. I'm just looking for advice as to what any owners of the navi world use it for. Is it more a work watch/ casual watch? I use my SOH for work at the moment and the M1 as my casual weekend piece. How do you think it fits in?
I didn't like navitimers at all when I purchased my first B last year, but after trying one on last week I'm smitten with it!

Thanks in advance folks

Jim

From my experience, the Navitimer World is a very functional. I've used it for a number of things. It's very comfortable to wear on the bracelet. In my opinion, it can be worn casually or formally. I would wear it to work (I have an office job) when it was in my rotation, and never had any issues with it's size. I've received more compliments on my Navitimer World than any other timepiece I own. Originally, I was thinking I wanted a Navitimer, but after trying one on it was just too small. I'm glad I went with the Navi-World. It's a remarkable timepiece.

As for the one I own, it is in mint condition and is virtually flawless.

When you say work watch do you mean "rugged"? If so, def not a work watch. Way to expensive and large for that.
Im purchasing mine soon and ill be wearing mine to "work" daily (I'm in sales BTW). But from board room to the bar I think its a great watch!
Just watch out about the WR though. From what I here....not so good! That's why I will always leave mine on the Crocs....that way I'll never want to get it wet ya know. Basically use the straps as a reminder to take it off unlike my Chrono Evo. :D

Get it and post some wristies!

Thanks for the comments guys, yours looks gorgeous Brian.
Is it still for sale? And would you be willing to ship to the UK?

I only wear mine when going out to dinner or anywhere I am not going to be doing ANY kind of work with my hands. The watch is fantastic but (mine has a bracelet) it is large and kinda blingy. The water resistance is almost non-existant and the slide rule is something that 99% of owners will never use. But its a damn fine watch. It worries me, when I wear mine. I am super worried about accidental dings and scratches. I dont wear mine very often and have thought about selling. Not because of the WR, but more because of the flashy appearance. I dont like drawing attension to my watches and this one definitely turns heads! The new Navi B01 LE, I have ordered will suit my Navi needs and be a little muted, so I dont think my white World will see much wrist time after I get the new one.

I classify it as dress/ dress casual. Rugged = diver watch (i.e. Steelfish, Evo, Blackbird). But if the looks of a Navi is for you, there arent any solutions for the negative aspects of this model.

FYI

Sure.

There's only a little water between us, no big deal.

I was worried about the same issues, but I invested in a Dremel tool and some polishing tools. Sure, I'm still careful with all my pieces, but it takes care of any small/medium scratches, etc. with ease.

I wear mine all the time. LOVE it for work with a suit, but it works with most looks especially if you have it on a croc strap like I do (brown). I also have a black croc strap that I switch it to if the outfit requires.....I agree with the above poster in that I steer clear of wearing it if I'm going to be doing anything active. I'll wear the SO II then....but, for example, I wore the Navi yesterday at the bar for Sunday Football with jeans, flip flops and a hoody. Still looks great.

Get it. You won't regret it.
