Go to Little Switzerland, 52 Front St, Phillipsburg. It's a short water taxi ride from the dock. Ask for the manager, Mr. Dharam Sawlani, he'll take great care of you. If you let me know when you are going to be there, I'll contact him and let him know when to expect you.

Another place you might want to check out is Art of Time. They had a pretty nice selection. They also seemed to have a nice selection of Panerais and some other brands. The saleswoman at Little Switzerland in St. Martin argued with me about price and how no matter what, they offer the best prices. They were more laid back and helpful at Art of Time.

Post subject:  First Ling in St. Maarten this February

I purchased my first Ling (NaviWorld/silver/deploy) in February at Art of Time in St. Maarten. The offered a very good selection and quite a casual atmosphere. It was less busy than the other stores and not so distracting. The pricing was ok as I received 24% off what I could buy it for here in Calgary, Canada. They threw in a rubber strap and a hat. Some of that discount was negated when I was dinged 5% GST plus a 5% luxury tax at Canada Customs (ouch). So much for being honest.

If selection is your priority all the stores really had a lot of product, but my silver World was a little harder to find. Finding a deal is likely a function of specific inventory at any given point. One advantage of buying at Little Swiss would be that they have a California location (just in case). In general, I found St. Maarten's selection superior to St. Thomas.
