Hi guys, I have seen an Avenger seawolf blacksteel which is limited to 2000 in the world, I was wondering if any of you guys have got any pictures of that watch? I am considering buying it. Its now between the chronomat Evo or the Blacksteel Avenger. Cheers guys! |

There is at least one Blacksteel Seawolf Chrono owned by a member on here, and they have posted pictures. Try the search function - I'm sure it will throw up the thread. |

I do have the illness "breitlingitous" and its slowly going to kill us all one day!! ok so, I have the choice between a very rare blacksteel which is £3560 or I have the choice of a Chrono Evo on leather for £3520 I'm really struggling here!!!! ![]() My local AD has the blacksteel in stock, in England not many other stores have them in stock. Thats why I feel the pressure building on which to have. |

There's a little "search" link on the top right, click that. As for the watch, if you like the blacksteel go for it I guess. Personally I'd go with the Evo for the simple fact that it's an Auto movement as opposed to the Superquartz in the blacksteel Seawolf, I'm assuming it's the Chrono version seeing as they amazingly don't make the non-chrono version in blacksteel. If you really want an auto in blacksteel have you tried to find a blacksteel Avenger or Super Avenger? It might be a problem finding one from an new AD, but they come up on used on forums from time to time. I also wouldn't let the "rarity" of it factor too much into my decision, 2000 seems to be enough for Breitling to call it an LE and charge more for it, but not rare enough for them to be too difficult to find, in my opinion anyway. |

Hi, Tricky one that, the Evo is a beauty however the rarity does make me crave the blacksteel, I guess its just going to be a case of viewing them both and making a decision on which to buy. One question, I own the Superquartz Airwolf, now there is not as much weight to the airwolf with it being Superquartz, is the AS Blacksteel also going to be lighter then the normal SA? obviously the strap is rubber, but I mean just the head of the watch? Thanks for your advice ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I Too was in love with the BS SA and the BS BB and to be completely honest I think it looks better in pictures. -E |

I have owned the Seawolf BS for a couple of months and have really enjoyed wearing it. It is quite heavy, I could not say whether it would b heavier than an automatic but I definitly would not want it any heavier. There seem to be a lot of critics of the Blacksteel models on here, not too many supporters. Especially in regards to the Seawolf as it is SQ and not auto. IMHO the SQ is the most accurate movement I have ever seen. It is reliable, durable and by no means "cheap". In regards to the DLC finish, I was initially skeptical about it's scratch resistant properties. However, it more than exceeded my expectations. Still not a single scratch!! And I wear it every day! I have observed what i thought were scratches but it seems that they just rub right off. And I do agree that LE of 2000 is not very "limited" however I am pretty sure that i will never ever see it on anyone else's wrist. That's a great feeling! My only complaint about it is that I am limited to wearing it on a plain black rubber strap. My only option, with holes or without lol. I would like Breitling to make a blacksteel bracelet but I know that there are technical problems involved with that so in the very least maybe a black strap with red accents or something different. If you like it BUY IT!!! You will love it. But dont expect it to turn heads, it won't! It is very understated, subtle and does not have that bling element. However, it is a monster of a watch! Good luck with making your decision! |

Dino wrote: Waow! nice, is that a working "picture clock" ?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes it works. I should have put the watch in front of the clock so you have a referance of the clocks actual size but the shadow box is 8 1/2" x 11". I have both the Chronomat Evo and this Avenger Seawolf Blacksteel so if I can add my opinion to the rest...either or both watches would be cool. Below is a photo of both my Chrono Evo and the Seawolf L/E and the wrist shot you asked for. ![]() ![]() |

How do I search mate ? I tend to search using the google method as I feel the search function here can be hit or miss. Type "site: breitlingsource.com 'insert search term here'" into google and it pops up the most relevant threads. |
