I think I've made my mind up which one to go with for my next immediate purchase. It has been an arduous decision because I really wanted to get one of the new B01 movements. Other than the Buck Rogers bezel on the Chrono's I still find myself drawn towards that style, however since I already have 2 in my collection I wanted to go for a different look for this purchase. I even looked at a Panerai Luminor Marina which I also liked a lot and would give my collection some variety. After a lot of mulling it over and looking at some of the AD's over here in the Middle East, I've decided to go with a Navitimer Montbrillant Legende LE. The deciding factor was that I was able to find a good deal on a BNIB Monty Legende LE that was considerably less than the AD quoted me in Dubai. The other upside to this is that I've got my next 2 additions figured out; the Panerai and the B01 Chrono will be the next 2 I will be working towards. I was a little concerned about the 48mm size initially, but after trying one on I think it works well on my 7.75+ wrist. Tuesday will be the day I decide on pulling the trigger on this so I'll let ya'll be the judge on the wrist shot.

Well I must say I'm a bit surprised at the lack of any response to the wrist shot, but I would appreciate some of ya'lls opinion on it. Does it look too big or does it look alright? Feel free to let me know what you think please. :lingsrock:

I understand you took those shots at the dealer's, and so probably can't take more. However, right now, the zoom is so close, I can't get a good perspective of proportion. Given that, I think it looks a little big, but then I'm not one for huge watches. Also, with your wrist size, you can probably pull it off. How do you like it?

Edit: I zoomed out on my browser so I could get a little better perspective. I think you're right on the edge between doable and too big. In other words, while it may be a little big for my taste, I don't think it's absurd looking on you, either. I think it comes down to your own feelings about the watch, and whether or not you think you'll like wearing it.

Great looking watch. I think size wise it is right on the edge, but the lugs arent hanging over, so I think it looks fine.

Yes sir JacksonStone, it was at the AD in Dubai and like you, I normally am not one for huge watches. That was the reason I was asking for the forums sage advice on this beautiful watch. After trying on this 48mm I felt that it was right on the edge of doable just like a few others have also mentioned here. I think this is a very classy looking watch and I like the looks of it very much. I also liked the fact that it's a Limited Edition which I know is really not all that it's cracked up to be, but it does add a little more uniqueness to the piece IMO. Plus the one I have a deposit on is in the very low 200's out of 1000 pieces. The one I've pictured here which is #560/1000 and the AD quoted me $7440 USD, which I thought was a tad high even if it is a LE and when I asked if that was discounted the AD says they don't really discount LE's. The price I can pick the other one up for was at such a HUGE savings compared to the one pictured, I caved in and threw down a deposit on it.

Beautiful watch but the US retail is only $7,000 not $7,440 as you previously stated. I was offered the piece for a big discount but I passed; tad bit too big for me but it's my favorite Legende....the prior models really bugged me with the gold hands....never looked right but the new LE looks a lot nicer.

You are probably right mfserge....the price I stated was given me by an AD in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates....frankly I felt he was pricing it way too high too. He said that price of $7440 was with a discount...hahaha...wait till I walk in with the one I ordered and tell him what I got it for :brewing: :nana: Think I did ok picking it up for under $5k?
