There are some pics up of a new model on the Breitling website: the Avenger Seawolf Chrono. The model is listed on this site, but without any photos.

Go to www.breitling.com --> models --> new for '08

It's a blend between the Chrono Avenger M1 and the Skyland Avenger. Not bad looking at all.

They also have pics of the revised Cockpit, Lady Cockpit, and the other models we've already talked about here.

Hmmmm, I must be honest but that doesn't do much for me actually. Way too similar to the M1. Nice to see it in steel though!

Its a nice watch, but your right very similar to the M1. I have an M1 that I bought a couple of weeks ago, it would be a tough choice it it was out before I bought. I still think the M1 is a great watch and very happy that I got it. :D

There is so little difference in the style and functions (unless i am missing something) that it barely warrants a new name...

Agreed Admin. Basically stenciled numbers and guilloche sub dials. Not a huge fan of the date location on this particular watch either.

Gotta agree with you guys on this one as well. WAY too similiar to the M1 and also not feeling the placement of the date... but overall still nice

Definitely has the wow factor! Lots of wonderful technology, too. Personally, I still like the looks of the Skyand better, which is definitely a good thing as I just bought a Blacksteel over a month ago. However, I still want a Breitling Quartz at some point, and this baby would sure fill the bill! I think the grey dial is the most outstanding. The true test of course will be to see the watch in person, and I cannot wait for that!
Cheers,
Carl

I just read the presentation material and it leaves me with a question.

They claim the Seawolf is the only operational Chronograph at depths. When they say that, do they mean it's the only operational one at 1000m depth, or that it's the only operational under water? The second thought seems odd, regarding the other water resistant Chronos...

Aleister - Techically I think they mean both, as you shouldn't use the pushpieces of any chronographs underwater, unless they are specially designed to do so, as they action of pushing it can draw water into the case. The likes of the SA, and Chronomat, etc, may be WR to 300m, but not if you use the chronograph. The M1 (and now this Seawolf Chrono) basically still have a sealed case due to the magnetic pushpieces which means that water resistance isn't compromised by using the pushpieces.

However there are one or two other watches out there that have functional pushieces underwater - the Tag Aquagraph for one that has rubber gators that are screwed into the case to ensure water resistance, but that is only 500m WR.
