Good morning everyone,

I'm new to this Forum and was wondering if I could get some info. I am planning on getting my first Breitling very soon. I am really interested in Mechanical movements versus Quartz, and I am having a hard time finding models with either a Dual Time Zone ability or a 2nd Hour hand. I like the 2nd hour hand on the Aeromarine Colt GMT+ .

Are there any other models with a 2nd Hour hand in production today? Are there any models with a rotating Bezel for the 2nd time zone?

Thanks for any help.

Navitimer World

The Navitimer World has a 2nd timezone but the rotating bezel is for the slide rule. The world has a 2nd time zone hand which rotates on a 24 hour wheel.

The Bentley GMT has a 2nd timezone which is displayed with a red arrow hand and a rotating bezel for world time...basically will show all 24 hour timezones. It's one of the few Bentley's that I really like.

Thanks for the input. I'll keep it in mind. I find the Navitimer World a bit busy on the dial though.

The original Colt GMT is back in production now as well - functionally the same as the GMT+, but with more traditional styling.

My favorite - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... d_213.html - Steelfish GMT - Limited to 100 pieces, and with a true white face. Hard to get and coveted by many on this board.

I've seen them pop up a few times in the last six months. I seem to remember that another member, dhalem, was very interested. He might have a better idea of availability.

I think he bought and sold one.

They are obviously fairly uncommon as there were only 100 produced, but there have been 3 or 4 across eBay in the last 12 months or so.

The hunt is worth it. I love mine.

Now I just need a croc strap and deployant to dress it up a bit.

The only thing that put me off this piece when it comes by is being on the old style bracelet. An easy fix if you want straps, which the SF does look good on, but I am not sure if there is a current bracelet to fit this model

I thought the same thing about the Navis, now I really want one.

And that Steelfish GMT is just sick, Why the hell didn't they make more of those, I'd love one on an OR.
