Post subject:  Winding Specs for Avenger Skyland

I ordered an avenger skyland and was looking into getting a watch winder for watchwinderstore dot com... was just wondering what the specs were for winding the watch (clockwise, counter clock wise or alternate) don't know if it will say so in the manual since i haven't gotten the watch yet (a bit anxious i guess) also i ordered the diver proII strap with clasp as well as the metal bracelet and plan on changing the bands every now and then, is this something i can do at home easily (was thinking of buying the bergeon spring tool to do it myself so i don't have to go back and forth to the jewelry store and bother them everytime) thanks for any info as i am completely new to this

Re strap changes - yes you can do it yourself. Just order a Bergeon 6767F spring bar tool. Get some extra tips with it. There is a video turorial on this site about changing from bracelet to strap. If you don't have any, you should get a couple screwdrivers for sizing the bracelet(or you could just spend $20 and have it done at most any jeweler, which might be a good idea with the rubber strap sizing if you have never done it before. If you do it yourself use a very sharp knife, cut straight down, and do it one section at a time, alternating sides. After each cut, put the strap back in the deployment and see where you are. The ends you will be cutting attach with regular spring bars to the inside of the clasp which is a tad difficult to see at first but by squeezing the strap you will be able to see the spring bars in the clasp.)

It's been a couple of weeks since I last said this, so we must be due......

Perfect size is 1.8mm, the Bergeon 180 is becoming almost impossible to find on its own so a Bergeon 160 (1.6mm) fits fine.
