Hello I inherited a man's Breitling duograph tone tone stainless steel and gold 18 K from my brother in law. It has 21 jewels and is either very dark blue watch face or black. It is a lovely watch - but I have no idea how much is is worth ( can't see any watch listed on the price lists attached on this site that matches this watch - although it is almost identical to the one showing on the page listing the duograph watch. It has the number B15047 on the back of the case. My brother in law died in 2005 - but I am not sure how old this watch is. Also not sure if these price lists are for buying new watches or older second hand ones) I realise that Breitlings are obviously watches for enthusiasts and collectors or anyone . Can anyone give me an idea of what the value may be please? Thanks |

Hi and welcome to the site. The Duograph is likely ommited from the pricelist due to the fact that it was discontinued about 1997 which is when the pricelist begins. The best place to check on a watches worth is to look at the completed ebay listings or to check sites such as Chrono24 for asking prices to get a rough idea. I noted on the ebay site that one sold several days ago for just over $1000.00 in the stainless steel form. Yours, since it is in TT, may be worth more or less, depending on the condition, market, etc. Check those sites and you'll have a better idea of the value. Elwyn |

You will also find it easier to sell and get a better price if you have the box and teh original paperwork. In the UK you can send your watch to Breitling to get its authentcity checked for about £35 (~$53) plus postage. Having a document like that also makes it easier to sell as you can assure the buy that it is a genuine Breitling. |

Thanks guys. The Breitling I have is exactly like the link electrosound gave. http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... r_113.html I will take IanUK's advice and see if I can get Breitling to provide proof of authenticity and keep an eye on the sites as Elwyn suggests. Cheers. Janielass |
