hi,

i own a CSO and i like it a lot its a very nice watch and when i bought it i thought it was huge but after some time i am thinking about getting a bigger one.
So that gets you thinking about the SA but maybe that's to big so i was thinking about a avenger skyland .

Isn't it exactly the same as the SA but slightly smaller?

The Skyland (or just Avenger as it is now called) measures 45.4mm, the Super, 48.4mm. They are very similar in design with the exception of the bezel and a few other small factors (logo etc..)

Yes that's what i mean , practically the same so if the sa is to big this is the best alternative right?
What has been changed on the Avenger sings it;s just avenger instead of avenger skyland?

They added 'Swiss Made' to the dial. You'll also see that the new one's have the polished steel stencil arabics as opposed to the older white arabics.

And... you can also get the Avenger dial with the 'twin' baton markers and silver sub-dials. Skyland will have the white arabics with matching sub-dial/dial color.

I have the Skyland and for a medium sized wrist (mine's just about 7 inches) it seems to sit well. The Skyland has the same bold, military kind of feel as the SA without looking like you've got a dinner plate on your wrist. Watch size is a matter of taste, but I think you need a pretty sizeable wrist to carry off the SA (nothing's worse than the lugs hanging over the edge of your wrist!).

With the exception of a couple of insignificant details and case diameter, the current model Avenger and Super Avenger are identical.

You could always just go to an AD and try them both on...

Big versus ridiculously big.....
I've owned the Super Avenger quite a few times and the Skyland which I currently own and unless you have huge wrists (Over 8") I would always suggest the regular 45.5mm Skyland. The exception would be the Blacksteel Super Avenger which seems to wear slightly smaller.

:yeahthat

I've owned both too in regular and Blacksteel and I would go for the Skyland over the Super Avenger, the SA was just a little too big and I have 7.5" wrists.

Yes , i want a bigger watch but the super avenger is probable too big i think ,that;s why i also will be looking at the skyland.
And about trying them on , if you put an a super avenger for the first time it always will look to big but maybe overtime you will get used to it , or not.
I think the skyland will be a nice pick too , i will be going for the black one so that looks smaller so maybe i can pull a s.a off.

Like others said The AS is the smaller brother to the SA. If you got small wrists and you´re doubting the SA:s big size. I´d say the Avenger is a much safer bet. I´ve had the AS for two years now and although it´s very comfortable, I really wouldn´t like a bigger piece an a daily basis. I love the SA, but with my small wrists I just couldn´t get away with wearing one. And my AS looks just the same on me as the SA on bigger wrists.

I like my AS more then the current Avenger. The dial just looks more cohesive. The white stencil numbers has a stronger military look opposed to the Avengers chromed ones. The white painted wings logo and date windows white backround all gell so well visually to a purposful design.

The Avenger though looks a little more expensive and stylish. (no bad thing) If they changed the date window black and the painted logo to the raised medal wings logo, it would look even better and more a complete over all design. Then I´d be tempted to change. Just my two C:s
