A few weeks ago I purchased a Colt Auto (dated 2004) with the black/charcoal face. It is my first "nice" watch (next nicest is a Movado) and the craftsmanship/design/fit and finish is superb.

I wear it absolutely everywhere--practically 24/7, even while sailing and swimming.
It's such an amazing watch in every way, but I just can't seem to fall in love with it. I have pretty small wrists (about 6.75") and am a bit farsighted, so sometimes I have trouble reading it. I'm also not crazy about the black face. It just doesn't contrast the polished steel enough for my taste.

I'm thinking about selling or trading it for something a little bigger and with a blue or white face. The first one that comes to mind is the Superocean.

I was just concerned that it may look way too big on my wrist. Does anyone else have this watch with small wrists?

Is the Superocean available with the "fighter" bracelet?

Any other models I should look at? Most likely buying used, so older models are OK.

Thanks

Going strictly on size:
1) Superocean would be a good fit, older model has arabics with good visibilty. New Superocean II also good readability.
2) Chrono Superocean if interested in chronogragh, blue and white dial available.
3) In SuperQuartz, you have Aerospace and Colt Quartz, both good readabilty.
4) For more money, move up to Navitimer - classic Breitling chronogragh.

All above are in the 41-42mm case size. Take a look at the Breitling website and you can get a idea of what these look like on different bracelet and strap options. Superocean comes with the Prof. II bracelet (polished).

I have a smaller wrist than you and a Seawolf and Steelfish, which are much bigger than the colt, fit great on my wrists. I wouldnt worry about size.
