Why does Breitling not use the same logo as the chronomats(raised wings) for the Navi Worlds? Do any of you think this particular logo cheapens the look of them buy any chance because it looks printed on rather then having an emblem?

Curious on your thoughts because I personally think they should stick to the raised look IMO. Do you think this will change in the near future?

Let hear some opinions! :D

Evidently they are just going for a more traditional look than the applied logo. It's the entire Navi range(not all have even the painted wings log of course) and some others - Skyland for instance. Especially on the Navis I don't think it cheapens it at all. One could argue it is a more refined hand detail.

I can personally care less how Breitling applies their logo on the navi world, they can have some schmuck draw it with a pencil. The watch is incredible the way it is and the logo is the last thing I care about..... just my 2 cents.

I understand that the way the logo is is the "classic/traditional" way and thats fine. It has no influence in my decision, I'll be purchasing it regardless just wanted to see everyones thoughts. If I had the option I would choose raised wings....JMO though.

I would never make a decision on purchasing a Breitling based on if the logo was the applied wings or painted on.

The Navi line has a pretty shallow dial, and I would think an applied wings would be a bit out of place.

:yeahthat Generally I am a fan of the applied wings logo (would like to see it on the Skyland if it were my call), but it would probably look bulky and awkward on a Navi dial.

Ive owned models with and without raised wings. After the first few days, I dont even notice. I probably couldnt even tell you which ones have it and which ones dont without looking.

I don't mind the painted logo on the World, there's so much going on on that dial anyway that I think an applied logo might be overwhelming. I don't like the painted on logo on the Avenger though, I wish they had the applied one like the SA, which I personally hate.

This was actually how I decided to buy my Chronomat Evolution...the raised logo. But I do not miss it on the Seawolf.

I prefer the stencil on the Skyland but the raised logo never stopped me from buying a Steelfish when it came up!

The raised logo closely resembles my US Navy Aircrew Wings, which I've worn for the past 22 years. If you follow this link you will understand.
