I have a polished* stainless steel proII bracelet from one of my older breitlings. I have been considering putting it on my blue dial SO steelfish, im just worried it will clash with the half brushed case. Anybody ever done this? if so, any pics and insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you are saying a polished SS bracelet on a Steelfish, the yes it would clash. After all it's only the sides of rhe Steelfish which are polished. It is essentially a brushed watch. If you bought the appropriate end links, they would be brushed as well.

You can have the polished bracelet brushed by any decent jeweler and it oughtn't cost much.

Or you could get the case polished as well. I remember reading a thread on one of the forums, with pics, posted by someone who did just that. It looked great. Try Googling or searching the various forums. You would certainly have something quite unique!
Cheers,
Carl

I would brush the bracelet before ever thinking about polishing the case! You could do the bracelet right at home with a scotch-brite pad and it will look perfect!

He already has a brushed pro II as well.
Personally I would never, ever polish a Steelfish, but I can see where it would appeal to some. I think the Steelfish is perfect just the way it is.

I agree. I just noticed the bracelet was the same size, kinda made me curious.
The polished steelfish looks great, but maybe a bit too blingy. the brushed surface is subtle, and alittle more classy IMO.
i think if i were going to go through the trouble to polish this watch, i'd probably just buy a new watch.
