Just wondering, how does the deployment clasp on a leather/croc strap fit on?

I know what side (the bit with the Wings) is mounted onto springbars, but I can't see how the other is attached to the strap.

All four ends of the rubber straps have a spring bar to attach to the deployment. Leather and croc straps have 3 ends that use spring bars and the 4th end slides into and under the deployment for a pressure-like fit.
