Hello all,
I am looking to pull the trigger on a new bling and have put the Avenger Skyland on my wrist a couple times now. Looking for something bigger than my CSO. One little thing that stands out to me is the vertical patterns only on the left half of the three subdials. Does anybody know why Breitling designed it this way or of any functional use? Does anybody have feelings about the look? I look forward to hearing your comments.
Thanks!!!

I wish they would do that on the SA. I think it looks amazing! Not sure of any functional use, I think it's just for looks. It really sets that model apart. I particularly like the gray or slate color.

Just a visual effect, which I really like. Very sublte, and only noticeable when the light shines on it at certain angles. The Skyland is to me the best looking Breitling of all. I got a Steelfish, then the Blacksteel a month or so later. If I had not been able to get the Blacksteel, I would still have gone with a Skyland, with grey or black dial. First time I ever admitted this, but I actually wish I had a regula stainless Skyland instead of my Steelfish, I like the Skyland so much!
Cheers,
Carl

As said - it is design, no real "function". Nevertheless, I really like that appearance. I too wish they would have that on more models...

At first I didn't like it as I like a certain symmetry to my timepieces but I do have to say it is growing on me. If all goes well I should have one on my wrist by the weekend unless there is something else out there that catches my eye. -CK
