Post subject:  Breitling no longer validates the serial numbers

I was looking into buying a watch on one of the forums and was provided with the serial number. When I called BUSA they flatly refused validating this serial number insisting I send them the watch for evaluation. But in order to buy the watch I have to make sure it's a real thing, so this is a catch 22 situation.

Any ideas?

TIA

They haven't done it for years for consumers. They generally will tell an AD whether the serial is correct, which model the watch is and which country it was first sold in.

If you want to know if it's real, post photos in the replica section here.
