I was in town today and just happened to go past my AD (as you do!), and wasn't planning to go in.... except for when I noticed a Flying B Chronograph in the window! This baby in fact - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ey_76.html And let me tell you - IT IS SUPERB! I'm not generally a fan of non-round watches, and the standard Flying B doesn't do much for me, but this is an absolute beauty in the flesh/metal. It manages to be just the right side of being too dressy for me. The only downer? The price! £8100. ![]() |

Not too shabby. Rather lovely in fact...just cant help wondering how that 'look' would work on a round version, Im not that keen on rectanglular watches as yet. |

To be honest I would love to get one as they look infinitely better in real-life than the pictures would suggest. The way the case and crystal curve on both axis is beautiful. HOWEVER, £8100 (on the croco) is too much for me at the moment, especially as I've recently bought my Motors. ![]() I might wait till a few on-line dealers have a few models in stock - interwatches, prestigetime, etc - and then I may dip my toe in the non-AD market for the first time. We shall see! |

The Flying B line is the one Breitling that just doesn't work for me. I could see myself wearing any of the range (assumiung my wrist was big enough!) but just not this one. My AD did have one of the FBCs in stock when I popped in a couple of weeks ago and it didn't get the juices going. ![]() |

![]() Oh come on - the PrestigeTime ones are on a Speed bracelet, so that levels things a bit. |

I've said it once and I'll say it again Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, Go on, I can be quite a bad influence! |

![]() Just one word of caution - if you decide to save some chips by bying the high-end high-price FBC from an online non-AD, make REALLY sure that you'll get all certificates, COSC and the rest of the paperwork/boxes. For a less expensive watch, as the SA for exmple, I can accept that they keep some of the paperwork (warrantycard) and give their own warranty - but not for a more expensive watch. |

Yeah I'm feeling a little unsure about this one - £5K from an online place is quite a lot to spend (well it is to me anyway), as is £8K from an AD! To be fair, £5K from an AD is probably the most I can justify. Maybe I'll put this one on the back-burner and just buy something else to cheer myself up! ![]() |

I have one of them on stock since last may. Haven't been able to sell it yet, but it was one of the first ones in the world beeing supplied to a retailer. Pricing in Euro is tough, 10990,- but its a really beautiful watch, not compareable with the normal Flying B BG Thomas |

Ouch. I think I would rather own the 48mm Cartier Roadster Chrono and keep $10,000 in my pocket. ~Brian |
