When was the newer pro 2 bracelet introduced? The reason I ask is because I was just on a cruise in the Caribbean and hit up every Breitling AD we came across and there seemed to be a good supply Breitlings on the older professional bracelet still in the cases. They were charging $250 for the older bracelet and $336 for the newer one.

As for the selection down there, Little Switzerland in St. Thomas has the biggest variety. The salesperson that helped me, Dean, was very knowledgable but very pushy. They had a diamond works Flying B that he said was well over $100K and it was limited to only 15 in the world. The Little Switzerland in Nassau also had the same watch. Little Switzerland operates the Breilting Boutique in Nassau and they've remodeled since last year and it's starting to look like that store in Japan that someone had posted pics of earlier. That store was filled with bentley models.

I had a terrible experience at Little Switzerland in Curacao.

High ass prices, salesperson wasn't very informed of the product she was selling, and they were saying "I was lying, I couldn't buy one cheaper" in their native tongue. I called them out and they were dumbfounded.

Not only did I buy one cheaper stateside, I also was kind enough to email a photo of my new watch and my sales reciept to the store in Curacao.

OH MY GOD! I am laughing my ass off at your post Brian!

Dude -- You need to post that photo here!

I love it. . . .Only thing better woulda been a picture of you holding the watch and sales reciept, with black marker on the picture reading, "How do you like me now!"

Way to go. . . .I needed that laugh today!

I had the same type of experience at Little Switzerland in St. Martin. The sales lady kept asking me what I paid for my watch and I was telling her it was less that what you're asking for it in a polite way. She then proceeded to tell me that it was obviously not from a Breitling AD since they can't give me more than 20% off. I just laughed and walked away. I imagine they get a lot of tourists just in there to try on watches, but I would think if they found someone who actually had one they would treat them in a better way. That was the only bad experience I had, the other 6 or 7 ADs I went in were more than polite, a little pushy, but polite.

ok only thing i can add to that is that I went for a pilot braclet yesterday, and asked few stores in london to see if any ahd in stock. No one did.

A sales girl in Bond street outlet phoned ling up and wanted my serial number she asked for my watch... whilst on hold commented that she loved the watch I politely replied thanks.. and the quote form the other side comes in at £650.

I siad thankyou i will try harrods to see if i can find it instock, but incase i did not can i have a card so i can come and order my braclet from there. She gives my watch back hands me the card and i walk outside the shop, look at the card it has the shop name her name and in brackets ''private number''... not sure if i should tell my wife about this...

my ling helped me pull... my pateks never do that!!!

Very confused

Interesting one there... Of course it could have been her private number at work (but I'd call that my Direct number) but then again, maybe not... There's only one way of finding out. :)
