I am curious about the fit of the deployant straps on a small wrist. I have 6.75 inches and the standard tang size is just a hair too big. It isnt really bothersome, but I am looking to add a strap anyways, hence the question.

Does the deployant clasp add a bunch of mass and cause the strap to bulge on the underside? Is it too much leather for under 7inches?

I read that the deployants are less strain on the strap, and will help with the durability and that would be nice on a crocco, but if it doesnt fit right, I may stick with the tang

I have the same size wrists and my breitlings are on deployments. They fit perfectly and do not add too much mass to the underside of the strap...it doesnt bulge at all.

Do they maybe even fit better than the buckle? I was thinking thay may be the case, becasue it is adjustable beyond what the holes on a tang offer

The deployant is infinitely adjustable. Very comfortable and there isn't any bulging/heft to it.

I only have deployment for my croco straps, and they can be adjusted to fit any size wrist...which is great. I don't like the wear that is created on the strap by using the tang buckle.

Absolutely 100% fits me better than a buckle because it's easily adjustable for your exact wrist size/comfort. Deploy is the only want to go in my opinion.

Get the tang buckle straps then order some simple butterlfy(bi-fold) deployment clasps. mywatchmaker.net has some for about $40 and it has been a great solution for me. The straps fit better, the watch looks better, it's more comfortable, and the razor sharp leading edge Breitling puts on the tang buckle isn't ripping up expensive croco now. The Breitling single fold is just too long for my wrist.

I have a 6.5" wrist and wear the Ocean Racer strap with deployment. It fits perfectly and is totally comfortable.

I have tried a non-Breitling replica leather strap deployment and it is too big for my wrist.

Sorry for the hijack.

But can someone tell me, on the Diver Pro II with deployment, you have to cut the strap to fit.
I like to wear my watches quite tight/snug, but noticed that in winter watches feel looser and summer when its hot more tighter.

Once the DPII strap is cut, does the deployment clasp allow for minor adjustments at all?

Yes.

If you position the micro adjustment in the middle when you cut the strap then you can adjust for your wrist swelling or contracting.

My body (wrist) swells ridiculously in different temps and in different humidity. I love the rubber straps because when worn looser, they create friction to keep the watch from moving around. Like the other poster, I cut the strap to fit with the adjuster in the middle. A metal bracelet watch is a different story. I love my Breitling Aerospace, but find it's really loose, and flops around inside the air conditioned office, but on the hot drive home with the windows down with me sweating, it's really snug.
