Hello, Im new to this board, Thanks in advance for any info any of you can relay to me. I'm looking for info on a Breitling I have, It is a Chrono Avenger 69 USA limited edition 007/100 (at least thats what my friend who works at breitlig tells me isd the model) It has a Steel case, Ti bezel (I think, but may be steel), Black face, and a small american flag on the bottom right of the face of the watch. I can't take Pics right now as it is at Breitling getting the bezel and crystal repaired. Even My friend that works at Breitling can't find any printed info on this watch. For that matter I have no clue what it's even worth, (not that I would ever sell it, it was a fathers day gift). I recieved it in the spring of 2002, and breitling says they only produced it from 02-04???? I'm confused I have never seen another one of these, in person or in picture and have done extensive searches on the web but have no idea what the exact designation, name or what have you. Thanks.

Mike.

Yeah, but that's just the regular one. The USA edition was in addition to this LE and is often (incorrectly) said to be a tribute to 9/11 because it came out soon afterwards and has the US flag on it. In fact it was planned before 9/11 and the timing was coincidental, no idea what drove it.

The USA edition was supposed to come out on 9/15/2001 because of the 9/11 attacks they postponed the release until march of 2002 which included a press release stating that this was not a 9/11 patriotic tribute but was a tribute to breitlings 100 years of selling watches in the USA , and that's the reason for the limited edition of only 100. At least this is what my jeweler had told me. I just want to know if anyone can substantiate what my jeweler told me. Thanks.

Maybe, would have to check the history books for when US sales started, but that's in the ballpark.
