I have one but don't know what it is for. Anybody?

No. It's a little gold pointy thing in a Breitling tube.

My guess its probably a stylus for a Palm Pilot or something similar.

It is a "corrector" tool used to set the complications on a 1461 (Navitimer Olympus) or QP (Quantum Perpetual) Breitling. I gave two of them to friends who have 1461 B's. They are made from 316L stainless steel and are "rolled gold" like the 18K link segments in a two tone Pilot bracelet.

Ron, Ah.. I remember those now. I saw them included with an Olympus on ebay once... do you know if they come with the watch or are they sold separately?

Supposed to come with the watch but that only happens when the customer is very knowledgable and asks for it or the sales rep goes out of his way to ensure it happens.
