Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I'm new to Breitlings. I got a Diver Pro II strap for my SA but could someone tell me the correct way to tuck the tail in because neither way seems to fit snuggly. Trying to squeeze the tail under the buckle is very difficult, partly because of the friction caused by the rubber and also because it's quite a tight fit. As you can see in the pic it's not a snug fit and looks a little odd. ![]() Over the buckle fits better but just doesn't look right to me for some reason ![]() Which way is correct? Maybe it's just me with this problem as I have quite thin wrists (7 inches) and wearing the watch in the first hole means a longer tail. I think I may have to order the deployment clasp version much sooner than I expected ![]() |

You have it right in the first pic. You just have to pull it harder to get it to sit a little bit more flush. |

I never figured the rubber would work well with a tang due to the friction as well. I never tried it and went with the rubber and deployant. It work really well on my smaller wrist. |

I have the same strap/buckle combination on my Steelfish, and yeah, it takes a couple of seconds of extra effort to get the strap fully through the buckle and keepers and lying flat, but it's not a big deal (to me anyway). |

Looks like you have the strap on the smallest hole, I'm the same as I have quite small wrists. Does seem the Diver Pros are better suited to larger wrists. The rubber with deployment fits far better on smaller wrists, I have both types. AFAIK the DP2 is slightly thicker which kind of exacerbates the problem ![]() |

Mine are about 7 inches so quite small. Am thinking of ordering the deployment DPII, but I've read you have to cut it down when sizing it and am not sure if I can cut it down to fit my small wrists. |

My wrists are 6.75 and I think the deployant works fine. As long as you cut some away from each side it works just fine. |

It will definitely fir your wrists if they are around 7". It can go as small as about 6". |

My wrist size is just less than 7" so pretty similar, but as RJ has already said the deployment rubber can go very small. It still maintains a perfect arc though ![]() The rubber strap half's are marked incrementally where you need to cut them. I cut mine with a fresh Stanley knife blade on it's own, then sand the ends nicely with 380 grit wet&dry but I have OCD's ![]() ![]() You'll also need a spring bar tool to pop the rubber out of the clasp, but you'd need one to change the strap anyway |

I give you a week before you put the Pro2 bracelet back on. I bought a Diver Pro for my S.A. and I took it off immediately. I love rubber straps, but the Divers are just so damn uncomfortable (the non-deployment straps at least). |
