Never heard of that, but I guess it's possible - there's not too much info out there on the differences between civillian and military versions (besides the frequency). |

It is not that simple that he means the "testbutton" on the back of the emergency (the one you use when testing the beacon with the "test instrument"? I mean, for the beacon to work the antennas must be deployed, right? Therefore it feels kinda impossible to have just an on/off switch. It feels like it is a misunderstanding or something. ![]() |
