A good friend of mine named Mark Terk passed away a few years ago and left me his watch collection. He was quite a character and it seems everything he possessed had a story. One of his Breitling's had an interesting story. If I recall he mentioned that he got this watch while in Saint-Tropez "playing" with a Few friends. He mentioned a guy named Philip Tucker from So. Africa, a guy named Teddy (Schneider?), Elle MacPherson.... He had pictures that he had taken, while hanging out of a helicopter, of a cigarette speed boat race??? Anyway, he mentioned that he somehow ended up with the watch? Can anyone tell me how I can have the watch researched and see who has owned it?

Thanks

Nice watch.

The only possible chance that you have to track ownership is through Breitling themselves. Start with Breitling SA in Switzerland and they should at least be able to tell you in which country it was first sold. The national distributor for that country should then be able to tell you a little more.

Thanks, I will check with them.
Do you know if the "No. 7" painted on the dial near the 7:30 position, references the fact that it is No. 7 of 25 as stamped on the back?
The reason I ask, is that in the Benno Richter Breitling book that Mark had with the watch shows a picture of the model on page 138. It also has a No.7 at the 7:30????
Could it possibly be the very same watch?

Correct, and the number on the dial is the LE#

Thanks.

I will ship it to the Conn. BUSA location.
Do you have an email contact for someone there?
I would like to insure it and am not sure for how much?
