Post subject:  Question about SA colours

I went to an AD this evening to try on an SA.

It was an arabic marker model which I believed to be black, but the salesman informed me it was in fact charcoal.
He compared this to the black baton face one and I could see the difference.
The black baton dial was more glossy and because of this looked blue in some angles due to the glare-proof coating.
The one I tried on did look more matt, and didn't really change colour if you know what I mean.

Thing is on the Breitling website there is no charcoal listed as an option. Could this be the volcanic black model?
I do prefer this matt black face, but would prefer a baton marker model.

Perhaps he showed you a 2010 avenger? It offers arabic dial in tungsten grey and volcano black. The black SA with baton markers does look a bit sharper then the arabic dial in volcano black, but I wouldn't call it a matte.

It could be the tungsten, but in real life the dial looked much darker than on the Breitling website.
It looked very similar to the black but just less glossy :?
