Found this new limited edition (another one) to come, a Chrono-matic 49 in blacksteel.
I'm a little unsure of the design. Any thoughts?

I was surprised to see yet another limited edition, there seem to be so many at the moment. Seems they are adding a dash of colour to everything

Seems to be Breitlings new design path...I can't stand it. The Chronomatic-49 was my first Breitling, I think this limitied Edition is very similar to the rest of Breitling's Limited Editions. Hideous.

It is real, and yes, it is hideous.

Another disappointment. Someone at Breitling needs to drink some "creativity juice" instead of using photoshop on current models. I expect more from them, and frankly they are better than this crap.

Oh good god. Working for Breitling R&D must be the easiest job in the world these days. I reckon this is the thought process -

"OK guys, we need to fleece these idiot customers of ours for some more cash. How do we do it?"

"Well, we have a catalogue of 30 or so watches, and a DLC process"

"hmmmm, not sure what you're saying Tarquin"

"Well we've already DLC'd five models so we've got 25 to go, and these gullible idiots that we call "customers" keep buying them so why stop at 5?"

"My god Tarquin, what a superb idea! S*d the fact that we'll be producing some of the most ugly and cynical watches in our history, some idiot will buy them and we will laugh all the way to the bank"

"Thats the idea sir. Let's fleece these fools for all they're worth"

"Well done Tarquin, have a 50% bonus this year"

Sadly I think that's how Breitlings R&D sessions work these days.

Driver....I think your spot on with that!! :guns: :lingsrock: we need to change this emoticon with a thumbs down!!

This total POS looks like a $300 Vostok or something. Total and utter crap. Leon and Gaston Breitling must be doing cartwheels in their graves. Words can't describe the contempt I have for this kind of junk. I've seen better looking fakes! Frankly if this is the best they can do they deserve to go under. Total and utter rubbish.

PS -Serge, I'm with you on finding a thumbs down emoticons! I have a horrible feeling we'll be using it a lot more in future months.

Ok...that was funny Driver. Seriously what the hell are they thinking? Are they trying to market to teenagers now? That's what this makes me think of...something big and loud that a kid would want to wear...I guess I am just getting old and too traditional for the anchor and wings...

Wow, I can't believe this is true. Good luck to any AD that gets one of these to sell.

To be honest, I dont hate it at all. However, it doesnt look anything like a watch with that kind of price tag.

Nope, doesn't work for me. Now "if" they were to put it on a black strap with red stitching it might be ok for the Ferrari crowd.
