I couldnt fit my whole question in my title, but I'm planning on buying a new watch in 3 years as sort of a trophy when I finish fighting Cancer then. I did mentioned in my other thread a few months back now (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20773). I've been looking around online for new watches. I was already looking at a Panerai 332, but its probably better without buying the 332 with all the hosp. bills and such just keeping me alive. Any ideas?

You won't find a Blacksteel SA NOS in 3 years. I doubt that there are any left now.

Thank you, good sir. I'd get it now, but I want to get it right when I finish my chemotherapy program. I guess I could get it and not use it until then. But I want it to be special. :)

When I browse through watch stores because they never have the watches that I want to see. Beside that, I've never seen my black datora maybe 5 around stores in the last 2 years. The store nearby had the SA BS there... but I think its gone.

Can somebody help me out here. I know that there is an Avenger Skyland Blacksteel but never knew that there was a Super Avenger Blacksteel. After looking at pictures of the SABS, it looks exactly like the Skyland. I posted some pictures to explain what I'm talking about. These pics came directly from the Breitling Source Models page:

Now there looks to be no difference between the SABS and the ASBS. The SA is supposed to be a 48mm yet if you look at the number 10 on both the SA and the AS, both are equally cut off by the chrono dial. Is the SABS smaller than the normal SA, the stencil numbers bigger or are the chrono dials bigger?

With the exception of the 12 subdial and the bezel they are identical. Even Breitling got confused and used an AS in early publicity for the SA.

First, I hope you beat that terrible disease quickly. It has taken too many friends. Second, I do wish you luck in finding your SA BS. Stranger things have happened, and once in a while a new one will pop up. I bought mine on impulse last summer and haven't looked back. I have a large wrist, and since it is black it wears a little smaller than 48mm IMHO. Best of luck on your journey. :)

Semper Fi,

Don

If you're in the UK, I saw one in the shop window of the AD I just picked up my Aerospace from this morning.
