Saw it at AD, very nice but preffer the bronze/havana dial myself. Seriously thinking of getting it to replace my now gone Datora. As a sidenote, you post at cigar forums right? the reason I ask is that you had stated in the title that you were looking for a Monty Legende (Monty being the popular online nickname of the venerable Montecristo line) Here is a pic of my latest acquisition for my personal humidor, box of 1996 9-8-9 ![]() If you are anything like me, then you must enjoy pics of perfectely aged cigars. If you aren't a cigar smoker, then this must be the most absurd thread jack of all time. |

![]() In that case: 1- Sorry for the thread jack. 2- A friend of mine is a doctor, loves cigars. 3-What did you mean by Monty? Just curious. Back on topic, have you seen the Bronze Legende in person? Very different from online pics, gorgeous watch! I would check it out in person before committing to a certine color. Good luck!!! |

The one I saw had the lack out bezel as well. I actually prefer the tuxedo-style Navitimers. |

Ok, I just checked with my service department, a new insidering in white (silver) costs 52 Euros, can be delivered within about 14 days, changing it is about 15 minutes work (have to make sure, its watersealed again). Only problem is, that Breitling in fact does not allow a modification of that type. When it is done, there is a good chance, that they will reject warranty. (if the service department realises it). BG Thomas Just incidentally out of curiosity, would Breitling still service a modified watch outside of warranty, assuming it was modified using Breitling parts? (In other words, even if the modifications void the warranty, would Breitling still service it at a cost, or would they just reject it completely?) |
