How come these faces are a little bit different? Im pretty sure they both said that they were Avenger M1s

They both are but not all of them had the regatta 10 minute countdown timer |

Yes, they are both M1s. But don't worry. The answer is not obvious. The one with the black dial is the yachting version - used to count down ten minutes for yachting or some such. Don't know the specifics of how it is used as I don't own a yacht. The one with the yellow dial is the standard version. |
