My wife and I are expecting our first child in August; a lil baby girl. A few months ago we painted her room a light green color. Then we chose the baby’s name; later on we found out that the baby’s name means green stone in Italian…..then later on we discovered her birth stone will be green. See a theme yet? This was all so coincidental; we had no idea of the green theme.

So…since Breitling is my favorite watch, I’d like to buy a watch with green in it bugt I don’t want to spend TOO much green on it…because I’ll be spending all my green on the baby.

Any thoughts? The green Superocean Heritage is my style. Anything else out there? I’d really like the new Superocean but it doesn’t come with a green insert. I’d like to stick with a Breitling but I may have to go elsewhere.

Let me know some ideas. Thanks.

Bently. Most come in Green. I know it might be out of your budget considering you are trying to save some clams. BUT.......maybe you can use the excuse that this would be the "heirloom piece" that would be eventually handed down.

Its a pretty good excuse my friend. :lingsrock:

I am going to be paying close attention to this thread, mainly because green is my favorite color and I have alway wanted a ling with a dark green dial. For me, that would be awesome. Like a seawolf with a forest green dial would look fantastic with the stenciled numerals.

Hey Mfserge,

Congrats on the great news of your first child!

Have you look at the Rolex Submariner LV or the GMTIIc anniversary model? Both comes in nice green to suit!

Stole this from the 10th page of the "Calling all pics" sticky thread above.

I would love this if the case was not TT.

The message is evident Sergio - you are supposed to be saving green, not buying green.
Big thumbs up on the coming new arrival! (NOT the watch).

BTW- Oris makes a green dial T1 or 3 or something I've come close to buying a couple times.

Guns....Thanks!! Yes I've given the Rollies some serious thought...especially the GMT II since it has the green second time zone hand....and the sub anniversary. They're still on my radar but a little pricey.

Shark....I need you're SOHC LE Green!!

To the best of my knowledge the only green non Bentley Breitlings are the Chronomat and the SOH / SOHC editions.

serge, seems like it is shaping up to be quite a summer for you! Congrats on the Sub LV and most especially your daughter. What a special time that is going to be for you. I can only imagine. Best of luck with everything.

Btw, rough night tonight for our yankees, not cool. :(

Check out sharkman's SOHC-LE pic here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/v ... =1&t=18037
It's pretty nice...

@ Kodiak, that Casio really is GREEN, even the box is "environmentally green" recycled paper. I think I see a piece of used TP in there.
