Hi folks, This question might have been answered before, but what's the best way to clean a non-polished watch? From what I understand, Cape Cod's work only for polished watches, so would one need to take soap, lukewarm water, and a soft toothbrush to best clean a brushed/satin S/S? Thanks! |

Cape Cod isn't a cleaning product, it's a polishing product. Cleaning brushed and polished is the same - soft toothbrush and then soap / dish soap. Some people have also used diluted Simple Green. |

I own a brushed stainless BlackBird and warm water and a mild soap always works for me - I don't even use a toothbrush.... |

You might as well take a look at the Veraet cleaners . They are especially good for dealing with dirt that get between the links of the bracelet as well . ![]() |

Agreed - just rememebr to wash your hands first to remove some oils and clean it with soap, warm water, and your fingers. Dry/polish with a microfiber. For soap - I'm a Simple Green guy! ![]() ![]() |
