Post subject:  Servicing Question

I'm new to the forum so I hope this is posted in the proper place.

I have a B13356 and the crown would not "pop" so I could set the time. I took it to a store and they were going to charge me about $475 for an overhaul and said that I need the sleeve for the crown and the crown was fine. I had left it with the store the day before and the jeweler opened it up and said I would need an overhaul for $475 and the sleeve for $30.

It was overhauled but the repair shop did not have the sleeve and couldn't get it so I was refunded my money and told I need to get a sleeve because they could not get one and I would have to send it to Breitling.

I am only in the USA for another 2 weeks and will be in LA, San Diego and Honolulu during that time. Anyone know where I can get a sleeve? If I send it to Breitling, any idea on the turnaround time and charges?

It will need to go Breitling. I'm not sure where you're from as you say you'll only be in the States for another weeks, so go to the Breitling website and look up the address/number of your country's Breitling service centre. If you give them a call they will be able to give you a quote for the work. Turnaround time is typically 12 weeks for non-warranty work such as servicing. (Warranty stuff takes precidence).

Thanks for the quick reply. I live in the Philippines. If I send it out in the USA, will Breitling ship it to me in the Philippines?

You can give Feldmar Watch in LA a try while youre there. They are trained to repair Breitling and might be able to help you out.
