So I decided to buy a new strap. Always been a fan of rubber straps so this just seemed like the logical thing to do. Still going to look at some Panerais tomorrow.

(excuse the crappy pic - there's only one class I've ever failed in my entire life and it was grade 11 photography)

alot of people would have feelings similar however maybe you should try cleaning the watch a little bit and then putting it away in its leather travel case for a little while without looking at it, maybe you'll have the feelings then that you had before buying it and itll speak to you again and youll enjoy it again, if not and your still bored with it then what can you do, live with it maybe for a little while longer or maybe on sell it. I imagine if you onsell it it will be at a loss, in the end, its your decision and no one can tell you what to do. Good luck with what you decide.

never had that feeling, closest i had was a lack of interest in the only second hand piece i bought but thats as it looked a bit of a mess, full service and a new cystal later and i couldnt take it off and the same is true 2 years on

sounds like either your expectation was a little high or you bought a little too spontaneously and the novelty is weraing off

generally takes me months of trying on and oggling before i buy and as such havent had the feeling you have, only expception was the B1 but got it at a great price NOS so could have bought and sold it and not lost a penny

Well maybe you would love it again if the bezel were aligned :poke:

I can't say that has ever happened to me, but then there is always a reason that I buy a watch that tends to hold my interest. At the end of the day you need to find something that's right for you.

its because of the combo of white dial whit batons, for me it doesnt work at all, i find it quite boring and unappeling combo, i have 1 SA black dial whit arabics and i cant get tired of it, i also use diver pro 1 whit it

also i know that the white whit batons seems pretty popular but it is also the one that appears most in sales corner, that should give you a hint, people get bored
quickly

Or you can buy another ridiculously nice watch and switch back and forth between the two, then you won't get bored with either of them.

I'd have to agree with you here. That white SA dial looks like a plain, boring white, like house paint almost. I chose the black dial SA with baton markers for that very reason, I just knew that the white dial would tend to become old hat. For some reason it's lacking that textured look in the dial that a lot of Breiltings tend to display. I'm with the others though, play with the strap combos, clean it up and put it away for a while, grab something else inferior to it so that you'll truly appreciate how nice of watch it really is.

I actually completely disagree. I thought the same thing about looking like white house paint when seeing it in pictures. After I got it on my wrist I think to myself everytime. WOW. It feels so clean and sharp. I can see what you mean about no texture but neither does the black. I also think that it may appear in sales corners a lot because of its popular appeal. Its like saying I see more Ford Focus's for sale than Ferrari's in a way. More are made. However, this analogy doesnt work all that well because more people probably like Ferraris over Ford Focus's
