I may be getting a Breitling for a wedding gift. My fiancee wants a few price ranges, but all I can tell her about is the Navitimer World and Super Avenger. What B's are in the 1500-2000 range, and then again in the 2000-3500, and 4000-4500. She will be buying brand new from an AD or possibly grey market website.

Thanks

Most gray market sites have pretty accurate prices. You can check there since youll get to see each watch as opposed to a pictureless pricelist.

1500-4500 is a nice budget. Youre basically going to be shopping from the Aeromarine line of watches.

Yeah, prestigetime has an easy to navigate site and accurate prices with pictures (there is also the models section and pricelists here). I wouldn't buy from grey market, and in the US jnelson3097 can hook you up with a very highly recommended AD that will look after you.

Bearing in mind the discount I think that you can probably go beyond the Aeromarine range at the higher end of the budget.

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding.

Congrats on the wedding, I think the Navitimer World would be a very classy gift (though on the high end of your price range).

I also think it is worth spending a little more for the peace of mind and warranty offered by an AD.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. Like others have said, prestigetime.com should have the most accurate MSRP prices. If I remember, you're in Canada so you should contact Roff for an AD to work with.

Didn't realise that he was up here.

Prestigetime will be US prices, but close enough to Canadian to give you a good idea.

Thanks for all of the replies and congrats on my wedding. It isn't until Nov. 2011 but our engagement party is not this Sunday but next. I will have the watch then. The in laws are most likely buying me one and my fiancée wants me to point them in the right direction. I'll be sending you a pm Roff.

Thanks again guys!
