Post subject:  Buying bentley motors leather/steel

Hello,

I'm in las vegas currently and I want to buy a breitling for bentley motors.

I was at a jewelary and the price of the bentley motors model with steel bracelet was 8830$
The price off the same watch with leather bracelet was 7355$
A huge differance. So I was asking myself, what is the price of a steel bracelet alone, so without the watch?
I was thinking about buying it with the leather bracelet and buying the steel bracelet apart with it.
Is that an option? And you guys know what the price is off the steel bracelet alone??

Ciao

The price of the steel speed bracelet (that is the one that comes on Bentleys) is $1600.

They price the head and bracelet separately as it is.. You won't help yourself by buying leather and then steel

Its neither cheaper nor more expensive; its exactly the same price. Breitlings are basically sold a la carte, and the configuration that you choose is just the sum of the components that you selected. You dont save by buying a "package." However, since most of us can negotiate a better discount on an entire watch than we can on a bracelet alone, you will likely save money by buying it all at once.

Okay thnx guys, did some math:P and figured out that with 1500-1600$ steel bracelet, I isn't cheaper indeed.

Went over to Hyde Park @ caesars shops. They had the motors with blue dial, just how I would like him to have;)
Without a lot of negotiation the saleswoman gave a discount of 20%, we said we would think it over and leave.
Is it realistic to think off a 25% discount on the watch? ( MSRP $8830)

It cant hurt to ask. 20% is actually pretty good considering that Vegas is usually pretty stingy with the discounts. 25% is possible as far as what you can do on a Breitling. Whether this place is willing to do it is another story.

Try going to Horologio in the Venetian. I like them better than Hyde Park and they seemed more willing to discount more aggressively. (Although I have only ever bought a strap from HP and nothing from Horologio...they were just very up front with their willingness to discount without being pushy).

The jewelers at the Wynn also as a very nice selection of Breitlings, but no idea how much they would discount (my guess is either nothing or a lot).
