Now that I have my Datora boxed up and ready to ship (lets hope this deal goes through) I feel like getting a Navitimer in its stead, Since readability is why I am sold the Datora (I have stigmatism) The world first comes to mind but what with quality issues I would rather stay away for now. The Legende seems like a fairly readable watch relative to the rest of the Navitimers and I do like the Bronze dial. I also find the IWC Spitfire to have the same character as the Navitimer line and quite well built, seems liek a bargain too. Just thinking out loud, what do you guys think? |

I picked the Legende over the World because the way the integrated bracelet looks is really amazing. They both are very readable, I (just as you) discarded smaller Navitimers just because I thought their dials was a little bit cluttered. Even if the Legende is larger than the World it actually wears the opposite. The contrasting outer ring on the Legende (for a white dial at least) makes it appear more subtle. Finally, I thought the World was quite close to my white 6.75 (at least closer than the white Legende) and Legende it became. |
