Just curious why the thread was locked?? Too much conversation? I had a feeling that was going to garner a lot of attention. Just wondering, is conversation in sales threads frowned upon, or did something else happen :?:

It says Admin closed it because it was a commercial sale. That's apparently frowned upon, or it's just against the rules.

I just saw that....that's makes sense. ADs shouldn't be selling online so that could be a conflict...and really, who's gonna spend 135k? Fahgedaboutit.

Some forums don't allow conversation in sales threads so that's why I asked.

I believe Admin locked it up due to rule number 4 on the Sales Forum Rules thread -

Damn! ...and I just finished counting out 13.5M pennies from my jar of change. I guess I'll have to wait for the next one.

Technically i'm selling it, not the ad, but its fine, the word is out, and we can still talk about it, i am always one to play by the rules, when i find out how much it costs to sell as a dealer we will probably do it, we have lots of other brands and pre owned b's we can sell online all day so we may just do that.

but there are pics in the gallery we can talk about that beauty everywhere

i handle the online sales of the stuff the stores are allowed to sell online, you can pay me, or pay them, depending on the piece, or how you want to pay, if its pay pal, i take it, if its regular credit card over the phone or fax they do in the building.

i have a regular full time job, a very good one, this is just a hoby for me and a way to help the board members im on and my friends at the store, i have middled and handled a few transactions on here, and dont make a cent from it btw.

this is the last one i did, and i am sure he will attest to how it goes.

Most Likely. I simply put people in touch with George if they are looking to buy. The watches that I've sold recently in the buy/sell/trade secion, the Super Avenger and the Navitimer World, were all in my possession and the buyers pay me directly.

As most know, I also post watches in the dealer section. This is an agreement between Govberg and admin. I was designated as the official contact which is why I have dealer status. These watches are located at Govberg and all deals on these must be completed through anyone at Govberg, either George, Brian, or Bari. When new preowned pieces are traded in, I get the pics and the details and post them up.
